My Son's Fiancée
Phone-tested by Ralph H. · Oct 30, 2026
Before the wedding, a fiancée moves in with her future in-laws. She keeps asking Mark, her future father-in-law, what he thinks of everything. His wife is always in the next room. Candy.ai plays episode 1 without an account, and episode 2 only needs a free one.
A rehearsal-dinner dress and one honest opinion
Jason's fiancée is staying with his parents until the wedding. She wants a second opinion from the older man of the house. Mark's wife, who is never far away, tells him to be honest. The official blurb stops there, so episodes 2 to 5 are not described on this page.
Episode 1, as I read it through the subtitles, centers on a dress for the rehearsal dinner. Jason thinks it is too short, then leaves for another late shift at work. His fiancée turns to Mark for a verdict, and the compliments start to carry a charge. Mark's wife calls him away to help with place cards, and he goes. Watch it to judge whether slow, living-room tension is your tone.
What 36 tokens buys, and what 90 buys elsewhere
Episode 1 needs no account, and episode 2 comes with a free one. Episodes 3, 4 and 5 cost 12 tokens each, so the paid stretch totals 36. I read those figures on the Candy.ai card on 2026-10-30.
Thanksgiving With My Best Friend's Mom also runs five episodes, yet each paid one costs 30 tokens. Its three paid episodes come to 90, which is 54 more than here. If you only want to sample a family-house story, this is the lighter bill.
Who this suits, and the order to watch in
It suits you if you like domestic stories where the tension lives in one house and one countdown to a wedding. It suits you less if you want a story that rushes, and five episodes keep the commitment small.
Open episode 1 on Candy.ai first, because it asks for nothing at all. If the dress scene hooks you, make the free account for episode 2. Then decide whether the last three are worth 36 tokens.

You can watch the first episode with no account on Candy.ai, and a free sign-up opens the second. Episodes 3, 4 and 5 cost 12 tokens each, so the paid part totals 36 tokens as of 2026-10-30. Prices may change later, so confirm them on the card.
How many episodes does My Son's Fiancée have?
Five episodes are listed on the Candy.ai card I checked on 2026-10-30, two free and three paid. Only episode 1 is summarized on this page, so the other four are yours to discover. The three paid ones cost 12 tokens apiece.
Does My Son's Fiancée have Japanese subtitles?
Yes, My Son's Fiancée lists seven subtitle languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese. Staycation with my fiancee's mother lists six and leaves out Japanese, so this series gives you one more choice. Pick yours in the player before episode 1.
