Alma is a college student expecting friends for a night in, and her adult stepbrother Ethan is not on the invite. He still ends up carrying the supplies inside. I watched episode 1: the guests are due at seven, and Ethan and Alma trade teasing remarks while he helps. One friend arrives and takes notice of him. Alma then announces a no-boys rule with one exception of her own choosing, and she picks him. Every character in the episode is an adult.
