The Gods Gave Me My Father's Wife
Phone-tested by Ralph H. · Oct 30, 2026
A prince returns to court and finds that his father's new queen is the woman who has been haunting his dreams. Candy.ai lets you start episode 1 with no account, and a free sign-up opens episode 2. Beyond that, the final three episodes cost 12 tokens each.
A dream that follows the prince into the throne room
Prince Theron returns to court and meets a stepmother he has never seen in daylight, Queen Lysandra. He knows her anyway, because she has visited his sleep for some time. The official premise says the dreams they share draw them toward a forbidden romance, and that the king's reaction is unusual. This page covers only what episode 1 shows.
In episode 1, as I watched it, the prince's dream ends with a protest that she is his father's wife. At court the king presents his queen, and Theron recognizes her at once. An oracle then warns that a serpent has entered the royal bed, and the king orders her removed. Later, the prince and queen compare notes and find they dreamed the same thing. A closing line pushes them to obey the gods, which is the hook for episode 2.
Stepmom and Cuckold tags, against a card with none
Episodes 1 and 2 are free, with a free sign-up needed for the second. Episodes 3, 4 and 5 cost 12 tokens each, a total of 36. Those were the Candy.ai prices on 2026-10-30, the day I checked.
My Father's New Queen has the same five episodes, the same 36-token paid part and seven subtitle languages. Its card carries no tags at all, while this one shows Stepmom and Cuckold. So browsing by tag finds this series and skips that one. If neither tag matters to you, open both first episodes and compare.
Who should follow this prophecy
It suits you if you like myth-flavored drama and forbidden-romance setups with a ruler's court as the backdrop. The tags point to a stepmother and a cuckold angle, so expect betrayal inside a family. Skip it if you want something light and breezy.
Watch episode 1 on Candy.ai without an account. If the shared-dream idea works for you, a free sign-up opens episode 2. After that, the last three episodes are the only paid stretch, and together they cost 36 tokens.
