The New Girl

Room 204 and a pile of books that need carrying

The whole setup is a first-day story with a twist. Both characters are adult college students, and the dorm is part of campus life. A student is told to behave by his girlfriend, Chloe, and instead follows a fellow newcomer to her dorm room. Class is the last thing on her mind. The official summary says no more than that, so this page adds only episode 1.

In episode 1, as I watched it, two lost newcomers meet while hunting for room 204 and agree to get lost together. She asks about a girlfriend, and he mentions Chloe, who leaves for class with a warning. The newcomer then remembers her books, and her dorm is right there. Inside, she tells him to sit and promises a lesson that the lectures skip.

No tags on the card, and a 30-token cousin without them either

Thirty-nine of the 191 cards list no tags, and this is one of them, so tag filters skip it. Episodes 1 and 2 are free, and episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each: 36 in all. The card showed these figures on 2026-10-30.

Private Lessons is also untagged, but its paid episodes cost 30 tokens each. That brings its paid part to 90 tokens, two and a half times the 36 here. Both have five episodes, so the gap is price alone. The New Girl is the cheaper way to sample an untagged campus setup.

A first-day detour: who it suits, and where to begin

This suits you if you like a quick setup, a flirtatious stranger and a cheeky title. Episode 1 is nearly all dialogue, so you can follow it in a short break with subtitles on. Five episodes keep the whole thing brief and easy to finish.

Press play on episode 1 on Candy.ai, which needs no account. Take episode 2 with a free sign-up if the dorm scene hooks you. Hold your decision until episode 3, because that is where the 36 tokens begin.
