A mortal thief sneaks into the realm of an elven princess to take a relic. She finds him in the act and spares his life, then claims him as her own. The bond puts her throne, her jealous betrothed and the kingdom at risk. This page stops at that premise and episode 1.
In episode 1, as I watched it, the thief came for a stone but loses his focus when he sees her. She confronts him in her garden and asks how he could rob a goddess. Every other captive has begged for mercy, but he stays silent. When she asks what he really came for, his answer is a compliment. She then declares that he will stay with her. That decision is the hook of the series, and it arrives within one episode.
